LEADERSHIP Story
Tamika Bean is a dedicated public servant, educator, and community advocate with more than two decades of experience serving Augusta-Richmond County. Her candidacy for District 6 is built on a foundation of transparency, accountability, and a deep-seated commitment to the residents of District 6.
Her experience includes disaster response and long-term recovery following Hurricane Helene, federally funded public health outreach, youth mentorship, workforce development, and faith based community service. As an educator and licensed instructor, she has worked with local schools, technical programs, and community organizations to support career readiness and life skills.
Tamika is running for Commissioner to bring transparent, organized, and accountable leadership focused on housing stability, infrastructure, responsible spending, and responsive local government. She believes effective leadership begins with listening to residents and delivering consistent results.
